Kyle McCartney wins a thriller to take the provisional spot over Mark Creighton and Mike King. Danny Kemp lead early but ground to a half with connection problems on lap 38. The lead was not the place to be as David Preston soon found out after inheriting the lead, a tangle with a lapped car on lap 43 put him a lap down for most of the night. Dave Surry held the lead until lap 72 when Mark Creighton passed him coming out of turn two. Mark lead the race for 13 laps until Austin Craig made a pass to the inside. Austin lost control coming out of turn two just two laps later and found himself with heavy damage against the inside wall. Mark regained the lead for a few laps but on lap 98 Kyle McCartney took over and never looked back.
