January Event now has title sponsors for all three main events!
The iRace for a cause team has been working hard over the past few weeks to organize information for the event we have planned in January 2010. We are pleased to announce that all three of our main events now have title sponsors, thanks to a generous contribution by Jody Haddow on behalf of Autism and Down-Syndrome Awareness and an equally generous contribution by James Chapman in the memory of his late father. Over the past few weeks since this event was announced we have seen an outstanding amount of interest from within and out of the iRacing community, as can be seen since this site was launched only a week and a half ago and already we have over 7,000 hits. We are still trying to finalize a deal on getting this race broadcast live over the internet, now that we have sponsors we should be able to focus more on hammering out a deal with one of the many broadcast companies.
Remember that we are still looking for well over 500 laps to be sponsored, at only $1.00 per lap it s a great value and an easy way to help out a great cause. If you are also interested in helping out a little bit more we are looking for Contingent Sponsors, as little as $5.00 per event can get your name or business name on an award like "The Hard Charger Award", "The Pole Award" or "The Half-Way leader award", it's also great exposure for a business of any kind and it is for a great cause, remember half of all money awarded goes to charity.
